截止到中部欧洲时间2月26日上午10点（北京时间下午5点），全球共确诊81109例2019冠状病毒病病例（新增871例）。中国以外国家和地区确诊2918例（新增459例），并有43例死亡（新增9例）。2月25日，世界卫生组织总干事谭德塞博士在一周一次的2019冠状病毒病疫情代表团通报会上发表讲话，介绍了过去一周疫情的发展形势以及全球应对的进展。总干事强调这一病毒是可以控制的，但也对一些国家病例的骤然增加深感忧虑。出现病例的国家应竭力防控。所有国家，无论是否有病例，都必须为潜在的大流行做好准备。

As of 10 am central European time on February 26 (5 PM Beijing time), a total of 81,109 cases (871 new cases) of 2019 coronavirus have been confirmed globally. There were 2,918 confirmed cases (459 new cases) and 43 deaths (9 new cases) outside China. On February 25, who director-general Dr. Tedros spoke at the once-a-week briefing of the 2019 coronavirus outbreak delegation, describing the development of the outbreak in the past week and the progress of the global response.
